  9.                         COCONUT PRALINE TOAST

  11.         Ingredients

  13.         2 T. butter
  14.         1/4 cup brown sugar
  15.         2 T. half and half cream
  16.         1/4 t. vanilla
  17.         1/2 cup flaked coconut
  18.  
  19.         Melt butter.  Remove from heat and add sugar, cream, vanilla
  20.         and coconut.  Mix well.  Toast bread on one side.  Spread coconut
  21.         mixture on untoasted side.  Broil until topping is lightly browned,
  22.         about 3 minutes.
